Choosing channels and regions

Keep the sources and regions that matter to you within easy reach.

A channel is a source of messages. A region is an area you want to follow. These settings work together: choosing a region does not replace choosing a channel.

Choose a useful source

Open channel selection from the home screen. Read the channel names and choose a source you trust. Look for the official-source label where it is shown.

Listening to several channels requires Full Access. Review the terms displayed in the app before changing your access.

Set your regions

Tap the filter on the home screen and select the areas you want to follow. These might include your current location or a region where family members live.

Unnecessary regions can make the feed less useful. Review the selection when you travel or your needs change.

If there is no sound

Check the selected channel, regions and playback state. Some channels broadcast only during an air alert in the selected region.

An absence of messages or audio is not confirmation of safety. Consult official sources for current information.
